My experience with Z race engines, is that the block is going to be a limiting factor when chasing high HP, along with the rod bearings. This is real life - very expensive - experience. Dry sump is going to allow higher gains, but I am thinking the 1000hp build is a bit of pipe dream. Sure maybe a few dyno runs, or a couple of 1/4ter miles runs, but a race engine at 1000hp that will last, I am beginning to think it aint gonna happen. Billet aluminium block any one?
